I don't know for sure.
But my understanding is that Jarmo has been made an official photographer for the band and is part of the entourage at least on some of the tours.
I think it's easy to demonize jarmo unfairly.
There is call for strong moderation in GNR forums simply because of the number of haters GNR in it's its forms has.
Think about you-tube - where you post anything and get 100 replies of "FUCK AXL..He's a bald cunt" etc.
Those sort of posts do not add to the quality of a discussion and risk making a forum unusable due to lack of moderation. I'm a member of a melbourne music forum like that - you can't get onto a topic due to hundreds of rubish posts in every thread.
So there is some call to delete people with that kind of conduct in order to raise the level of discussion.
However, I also think he goes too far, in that i'm told he deletes people for saying anything even remotely critical of the band, when it's well documented that strong fans of anything often have strong opinons about things - and it doesnt mean they dont support the band overall.
As an aside I was talking with the gay best friend of a girl I like, at a pub the other night. He's a a huge disney theme park fan. He was saying that it's interesting that people love disney to the extent they colelct everything, go to the park hundreds of times, etc etc yet these same people are the most critical and are like "fuck disney" if they so much as re-paint a street lamp a new color. It made me think of GNR. I mean there's people around here who make a lot of negative remarks, but they're also people who've followed the band for decades and who have been touched by the bands music in their lives and so on. It's quite facinating.
Anyway, so I understand Jarmo wants to keep it positive, and I can see the merrit in that to a point. For example, Bumble just gave tickets away to an Aussie fan - a great gesture - and I read on a site someplace some aussie girl bitching about how he wouldnt ask americans to tip soup on their head. Some people just want to turn a good thing into a shit thing, and that can get old for people who want to enjoy something.
My only real issue with the site was that circa 2003 or something it seemed Jarmo was also into VR and liked slash in his role as a former member. Yet these days it seems to fit in you have to hate slash. Now maybe jarmo just changed his mind. I don't know him and I'm not making any accusations. But it just all seems very political over there. Seems that a lot of the users there post things just cos they hope Axl or someone from the band will read it and give them access or priviliage for it - and that seems unfortunate to me. I know Axl doesn't like the lies in the media, and I hate to see fans lying to him, saying they hate ex members just because he does. (or they think he does). Again I am not accusing jarmo of this, but I think some at his site do that. Or that's my perception of it from reading the posts.
For this reason I mostly post here, where posts are not deleted unless someone is absolutely lowering the quality of discussion. Where people say what they honestly feel about the music good and bad - because it's in their hearts and not because they have some kind of agenda.
At times I do feel the balance here is a little negative, but that's i think a reaction to HTGTH as its the pessimestic POV that's looking for a voice online.
Overall I support the band and in his own way Jarmo does too. And so while he's often bagged around these parts, when push comes to shove, we all love GNR in our own way - even those that seem not to! - and so i think in real life we'd all get on much better than online. In his own way he works very hard for the good of the band - and I respect that - even if from a freedom of speach point of view - at times I question the methods.

It's overall negative here but for the most part it is very fair and balanced. You know everybody's stance and you respond accordingly. Even the "negative" guys will let their old soft spot for Axl show every now and then. They will rip him consistently, but in the end, they still are hoping for a miracle and still appreciate his artistic potential.

Sanctuary began to 'help' Jarmo years ago and that's where all the nutswingers nonsense and Slash-hate started. He used to be very supportive of VR and then he turned against them.
Jarmo is a paid clown and while he likes to give the 'non-fan' badge, he's the less GN'R fan I've ever seen on a message board. He's doing it for the money and to see Axl. A Guns N' Roses fan wouldn't deny the past, cause it's all why we are here and it's what even Axl is living off.

Because “Robin F~'s” inclination to lie has been established through contact with Richard Fortus (a person who he stated as a source), I would assume that his claims about a new album (“facts” alleged to have been heard from Dizzy Reed) are also false.

^ I don't get it I assume that was a tweet posted by Beta. But the language later in the tweet sounds like it's written by someone out of the GNR cirlce. They say "I contacted GN'R rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus..." It reads like it was a reporter following up the story trying to clarify it?
If it was written by Beta (who presumably sees Fortus just about every day while they are on tour, wouldn't you write "I spoke to Richard" rather than "I contacted". Anyhow, I assume she was simply trying to shoot down what that Robin F dude posted by using some evidence to say the guy is full of shit. Which is fine but it all just sounds like confusing gobbledy gook to me. Perhaps it's her lack of basic English that is confusing the message??
Interstingly the guy that came out and posted after this Robin F guy (he went on to say that Robin F only had some bits right), posted much more detailed and salacious rumours (all the BBF stuff plus other background issues with Azoff and UMG etc), yet Beta is conspiciously silent on him. Is that because he was telling the truth?

Well ...what I get from it is gunsnrosesnews phoned/emailed Fortus and asked if the American tour was put off to start March/April at the earliest due to lawsuit.
Fortus in reply: I never said that to anyone.
I dont know who gunsnrosesnews is. My guess is just a fan that reads the forums and gathers news to tweet about GnR. Here is his email if anyone is curious enough to ask
