Axlin agreed on all that EXCEPT Axl doesn't NEED to self title the next album. Like monkeychow said if he's about the music and all that shit check the ego at the door and don't add fuel to the fire. If he wants people to focus on the music then he NEEDS to give them a reason to and not yet another reaosn to discuss the name no matter how insignificant it really is. Self titleing it only causes resentment among fans and gives journalists unneeded amo. In the end the only purpose self titleing an album would serve would be to boost Axl's already inflated ego. Also knowing what the reaction would be(he has to know it cause we all know it) it would simply give him another excuse to use however he felt necessary.

I think it would be pretty cool 
Chinese Democracy was a self deprecating title cause he knew the album wasnt going to happen any time soon, I think it shows a light hearted mindset amongst all the crazyness of making the album.
If the next one is self titled imo it would be another lighthearted move aimed at getting the most vocal of the "its not Guns N'Roses" posse knickers in a twist, and intentially give them something to gurn and cry about whilst giving them a raised middle finger. I think it would be pretty funny.

axlin, mikka & bono r completely correct in what they're sayin but that's what makes it funny - that level of self-deprecating/aggrandizing, wilful, purposeful stupidity is funny.

No doubt that if the next album is in fact self-titled, that is prolly the way Axl sees it!
It's like: "Guns N' Roses is whatever and whoever I say it is! And fuck you!!"

I think a self-titled album is a pretty clever move - simply because it'd represent a giant "fuck you" from Axl to all those opposed. "This is Guns N' Roses, deal with it."
