You certainly bring up the fact now and then, as if you think it holds any kind of relevance what so fuckin' ever!

But it only states the fact that you are a GNR-fan who don't own their six studio albums...

Oh wow is that like some sort of challenge to make me go out and buy it or supposed to make me feel less worthy of being a  Gn'R fan or something?  How many times have you seen them in concert Naltav?  the old band, the new band, the 2002 band?  Your judgemental views on what qualifies one as a fan makes you look like an ass. 15

There's a certain mismatch between activity on the board and the willing to buy the bands album. Doesn't really add up to me, but I'm sure they have some kind of reason.

Don't worry though, sure they have a folder called "Chinese Democracy" which they secretly listen to after 11pm.

There's obviously a  discconect between those of you who haven't been on these boards as long or simply missed the topic about 4 years ago. I'm not about to rehash something that was made perfectly clear 4 years ago just to please you people. I didn't buy it then, I won't buy it in the future, it's not a very good album in my opinion so leave it at that. I guess we all have to love Chinese Democracy to be a Guns N' Roses fan and to post on these boards roll I guess I missed the memo and sorry I don't fit your definition of a Guns N' Roses fan.  And believe me DCK I do not have Chinese Democracy on my computer. I have a burnt copy, which has always been the case, but to be honest I don't know where it is anymore.

Not quite sure if you're referring to "this" board, or boards in general. I've been "around" on these boards since 1999.

No, you don't have to love Chinese Democracy to be a GNR fan. In fact, you can hate the guts out of it. But yet, this part of the board are commonly used by you and others, and when did we ever really discuss 1987 on this part of the forum? This section, to me, is about the present or the close present or future. I don't really use the other part of the board much, the one which deals with the past or other members solo albums because I don't really find it that entertaining.

I didn't buy the last VR album. Heard it once, thought it was shit and didn't buy it. I've heard Chinese Democracy and I loved it. That's why I'm here. If I didn't find Chinese Democracy interesting, I wouldn't really bother. Not saying it should be like that to everyone, just pointing out how I would grasp these things if it was different.

I don't own GH either. I already had those songs.

Yeah me either, for the same reason.  Though I have to admit, I did download "Sympathy For The Devil".  I really dig their version of that song.  I know a lot of people hate on it, but I think it rocks.

I also only own half of GNR Live Era.  A housemate of mine borrowed disc 2 in college and never gave it back.  I would leave him voicemails whistling "Patience", and asking him nicely to give me my F'ing CD back in the final days trying to remind him but then I forgot about it and it was too late.  A friend burned me a copy of the disc, but it's not the same.  No big deal though, as I've never had the urge to play either disc in YEARS anyway.

I have the 3 official DVD releases too.  I think that's all there was right?

I don't own any of the solo stuff either outside of the 2 VR discs and "Slash".

Is Greatest Hits remastered? I remember being in my friends car and he put it on and I thought the songs sounded a bit fresher and more sharp. Could've just been the the stereo and enclosed space I suppose.

I'm sure I have some other stuff, but these are the official releases that I can think of off the top of my head...

GnR
AFD - CD
Lies - CD
UYI I - CD
UYI II - CD
TSI - CD
Sympathy for the Devil - cassette
NR (single) - CD
Yesterdays (single) - CD
UYI II - LP
AFD - LP
Makin Videos - VHS
Making Videos - DVD
Japan I - VHS
Japan II - VHS
Japan I - DVD
Japan II - DVD

Slash
Snakepit 1 - CD
Snakepit 2 - CD
Slash Solo - CD

Duff
Believe in Me - CD

Izzy
Ju Ju Hounds - CD
Some album with degrees in the title - CD

VR
Contraband - CD
Libertad - CD

Bumblefoot
Abnormal - CD (autographed thanks to winning a contest here)

While looking at this, it's pretty clear to me that I gave up on GnR in the late 90s and bought very little from ANY of them after the 2nd Snakepit album.  It's almost like I went on strike against them from breaking up and providing me with subpar music.  Out of the solo stuff I own, I actually like Ju Ju Hounds and Believe in Me the most.  I guess I've been pretty cynical towards all of them for a very long time.
