There's a certain mismatch between activity on the board and the willing to buy the bands album. Doesn't really add up to me, but I'm sure they have some kind of reason.
Don't worry though, sure they have a folder called "Chinese Democracy" which they secretly listen to after 11pm.:thumbup:

TBH i can't understand not buying the album, I mean I love it, but even if i didn't, I think i would have bought it for closure. I mean how many years did we all sit around pontificating about what would be on the album, what wouldn't, how it would go, hell, IF it would happen. That alone to me would have justified a purchase in it's own right.
Although i guess if i'm honest with myself I pretty much by any GNR related release, like steven's EP, slash's album, so of course i was gunna buy this.

I think they both have been clear and consistent with their opinions-they don't like the music enough to buy it. I can live with that.
I don't own the Spagetti Incident or Live Era or Greatest Hits.
...and many haven't bought Slash's, Duff's or Izzy's solo stuff. I can really accept that - if you don't like something, then don't buy it. I see no difference between not buying Loaded's last album and not buying Chinese Democracy.

Oh wow is that like some sort of challenge to make me go out and buy it or supposed to make me feel less worthy of being a Gn'R fan or something? How many times have you seen them in concert Naltav? the old band, the new band, the 2002 band? Your judgemental views on what qualifies one as a fan makes you look like an ass.

There's obviously a discconect between those of you who haven't been on these boards as long or simply missed the topic about 4 years ago. I'm not about to rehash something that was made perfectly clear 4 years ago just to please you people. I didn't buy it then, I won't buy it in the future, it's not a very good album in my opinion so leave it at that. I guess we all have to love Chinese Democracy to be a Guns N' Roses fan and to post on these boards 
I guess I missed the memo and sorry I don't fit your definition of a Guns N' Roses fan. And believe me DCK I do not have Chinese Democracy on my computer. I have a burnt copy, which has always been the case, but to be honest I don't know where it is anymore.

I bought the CD when it first came out, but I've probably never even put the disc in a player. Of course I downloaded every single leak as well as the final retail release leaked onto the net, and I still listen to it occasionally on my iPod. But I usually try to buy the CD anyway to support my favorite bands, and I honestly do think it is a great album and holds up quite well even after repeated listenings. Just my opinion - you're welcome to disagree!

You read waaay too much into that...
If I'm not mistaken, I've seen you posting about wanting to see them when they hit the US, so I don't doubt you're a fan.
To answer your question; I've seen them four times '93, '06 and twice in 2010. Had tickets to two shows in'02 but shit got canceled.
The fact that you don't own a copy of CD, means nothing more than that you don't have a copy of it. For all I now, you could be one of those cheap guys who are happy with just downloading and stocking up on CD-r's.
You've prolly heard that burnt copy as many times as you would've heard the actual album. So your opinion of the material has nothing to do with owning a copy or not. THAT'S why repeating the fact holds no kind of relevance!
