Good point!
Was the insult at past guitarist or at GnR for picking that "type" of guitarist?

I think it has to do with bandwagon fans who only support members who are currently apart of the band, then when they leave the band, they feel emotionally robbed in the relationship so they make excuses to convince themselves it's for the better, when it never is, so they don't feel like the guilty party in the breakup.

They watched Axl do it for 20 years, so they just emulate him.

14 I think I agree with that. Except I may be in the minority but this version of Guns N' Roses is my favorite new lineup so far. I think Ron and DJ are both better fits than Buckethead and Robin.

As much as I like Buckethead musically, I have to completely agree with you. This is the most Guns N' Roses has felt like Guns N' Roses since 1993 imho.

Thank god I'm not the only one who thought that Belfast review sucked major ass. I didn't wanna say anything cause I didn't wanna be a "hater" but holy shit was that cringe worthy. I swear I alomst puked numerous times reading that. Talk about swinging from nuts.

I like reading fan reviews, positive or negative, but that was just painful to read.

In March of last year the announcement of @DjASHBA as Guns N' Roses' new guitarist was met with intense hostility.

I don't remember any hostility. Most people didn't care, others accepted him, as would have accepted anyone else.

BTW this article is pathetic.
