How fitting to let DJ drop this to the public ! I do feel for Ron tho he has had to dodge this question a million times. This was vague but I basically hear there working on ideas for a NEW record.

Well, DJ has intimated at a new album before. There was that story that he and Dizzy said they were working on a new album or however that went. Ron was never as forthcoming. Maybe that's by design based on his past experiences in the band and dealing with such questions, or maybe he's just not as optimistic.
And other members have mentioned a US tour. I think DJ himself said they planned to tour the US after Australia a few months back. Frank said a US tour was in the works for THIS fall awhile back.
So while all this is very exciting, we've heard some of this before so I'm going to temper my excitement for the time being.

STATES TOUR....FEBRUARY....my day is MADE.
I will go see them everywhere they are remotely close to me.
lol i got so excited over new material I didnt even catch states tour.
Do you guys still predict theater/area tour?
i seen somewhere metallica wanting to do a co-headline tour.have they done the states this year?

The new material/cd is much more exciting then the US tour mention. Call me skeptical but February is only three months away and tickets haven't gone on sale and dates haven't even been announced. Seems like a long shot to me.
If they do a US tour they should do it in style and do what Slash just did. Small venues and rock the shit out of them.

Oh I agree with that for sure. I think a US tour is much more likley anytime soon. However if both were on the horizon I'd prefer a new album WAY BEFORE a US tour. That's why if band members are openly talking about a new album it excites me more than a US tour.
