just a handful of shows before (i expect) they take a 3-4 month break and tour the states starting in the spring., (hopefully maybe with news of a new CD), Too bad those shows probably wont sell out like theses ones have been doing all tour long.

Only way a 2010 GN'R U.S. leg works, without an album or old members appearing, is if they keep themselves relegated to theaters/amphitheaters.

BS, a US tour will work regardless of what they do, only problem is it wont be as profitable.

How so? They sell more tickets in arenas than in theaters. Sure they won't have sellouts across the US, but they're better off selling 5000+ tickets than 2000. Aren't they?
