Heavy!

25 years after originally playing Marty McFly, Michael J. Fox has rolled up his jeans, slipped on his mirrored shades, and taken the driver's seat of Doc Brown's DeLorean once again.

It's to promote this year's Spike TV Scream Awards -- where the cast of "Back to the Future" will reunite -- Fox took part in a shot-for-shot recreation of the original teaser trailer for the movie. The video matches the original in nearly every detail, from the tongues sticking out of Fox's Nikes to the pulsating of the time machine's Flux Capacitor.

2010 Trailer:

The reunion at the Scream Awards, airing Tuesday, October 19 on Spike, is just the latest in a flood of "Back to the Future" related nostalgia to hit the Internet recently. Back in July, a hoax that claimed we had reached the date in the future that Marty McFly visited was picked up by celebrity Twitter-ers like Joe Jonas. Then in September it was announced that a new video game based on the movie series was in the works, with Christopher Lloyd reprising his role as Doc Brown. And just this week, the Web got fired up by the first look at footage of Eric Stoltz playing the role of Marty, before he was replaced by Fox. All this is leading up to the release of the "Back to the Future" trilogy on Blu-ray, hitting stores on October 26.

For his part, Michael J. Fox looks healthy and still decades younger than his actual age (he turns 50 next June). He appeared at the closing ceremonies of this year's Winter Olympics with other notable Canadian celebrities. He published his third book called "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future" (there's that word again). And next month he'll return to TV for a guest role on "The Good Wife."

the first few seconds I`m like yeah this is cool as hell, but I just felt real odd watching Mikey at the end, clearly trying his best to keep it together..

Yeah, but it was still a pretty cool moment. I know he takes alot of tremor-meds in order to be able to act these little parts, but sadly he seems to be getting worse.

Hopefully they'll find a cure or a better fix sooner rather than later.

I grew up with this, its still one of my favourite movies, I have the trilogy boxset, I loved him in Spin city, and its just too much to watch them as they are now.  Wasn't there yearsss ago this implant that could control the tremors.. I saw it a on tv show they showed this guy really bad and he could press a button instantly control it, it was amazing to see..no cure but that was eons ago.

Yeah it's a shame. The Trilogy is my favorite trilogy ever, and the films still hold up today. I really am looking forward to the Blu-Ray/Special Edition release coming up hear shortly.

Fox still is a great actor. Of course the only roles he can take are eccentrics or handicaps because of his condition. But he was terrific on Rescue Me last year, and had great chemistry with Denis Leary. He's still got it as an actor. If only his condition would ease and allow him to work more. Still love the guy.

His illness aside there's no way he looks 50, amazing! Good to see him again. I hope medicine develops and can help his sickness.
