Hey Guys
This is a venture that has been along time in progress. Finally booked our first show, to hopefully start something big. We have got sponsorship from Marshall Amplification, Blackstar Amps, Seymour Duncan, Ernie Ball Strings and Jim Dunlop Accessories who, for our opening night have given us some great prizes for lucky ticket buyers. We will be giving away about £1000 worth or products from these companies on the night.
Here the the details;

Event: Live Performance of Slash's Solo World Tour Set
Date: Friday 10th December 2010
Time: 8.00pm-Very Late
Venue: White Horse Music Venue - 39 Chichester Rd, BOGNOR REGIS, West Sussex PO21 2XH

Brief:
It all started after Gavin Barnard had a 3 year stint with top Guns N Roses tribute "Guns 2 Roses" After leaving Guns 2 Roses and gaining the respect and reputation as the best Slash and Guns N Roses tribute in the world, he thought it would be great to play Slash's back catalogue instead of just Guns N Roses. Now in 2010, and after the release of Slash's solo album, there is no better time to hit the road. Booking enquiries have been coming in after word spread of the new venture.
"Slash and Friends" will be playing there first show in their home town of Bognor Regis. The event is sure to sell out, after 3 previous Guns 2 Roses shows in Gavin's home town did the same in record time at the venue.
Slash only did one UK club show, so it would be good for people to hear the songs off the record in a live situation.
Our set will include hits such as Sweet Child O' Mine, Civil War, Night Train by Guns N Roses. Beggars and Hangers On, Mean Bone by Slash's Snakepit. Slither, Fall to Pieces, Dirty Little Thing by Velvet Revolver. As well as Slash's solo songs Back from Cali, Ghost, Starlight and Dr. Alibi. A total 90-mins of Slash's history.

Btw, have they replaced you yet? not with a Finck I hope (lolz)

Gavin who played Slash in G2R has been "replaced" many times since his departure. From what we've heard, they have never had a permanent Slash, or for that matter a permanent Duff since. If you've ever seen Gavin play as Slash in G2R, then you'll know this is the right decision.

Wow. So fake Slash is going out on his own so he can get all of the headlines and the money? He might be the best fake Slash ever. I wonder if he can make it without fake Axl or if his best fake days are behind him. Maybe we can hope for a g2r reunion some day.

Gavin who played Slash in G2R has been "replaced" many times since his departure. From what we've heard, they have never had a permanent Slash, or for that matter a permanent Duff since. If you've ever seen Gavin play as Slash in G2R, then you'll know this is the right decision.
As far as G2R goes Gavin was replaced by Leo Thomas (black Slash) in June 2009 after Gavin's final gig with us in Slovenia.
Duff was played by Stevie Ward and then changed to Chrisi Lynch in April 2010.
These members are playing their last 3 G2R shows in Slovenia, Wales and Hastings over the next few weeks.
In January 2010 they are to be replaced by Bids and Jon from the Uk Guns N Roses who split and signed their tour and 2 members to Guns 2 Roses last September.
