Re: 'True Grit 2010' Trailer Revealed
The trailer to the remake of the John Wayne classic "True Grit" has finally been released. The film is directed by the Coen Brothers ("No Country For Old Men"), and re-teams them with star Jeff Bridges whom they worked together with on the comedic modern-classic "The Big Lebowski". The Dude reprises the role that won The Duke an Oscar as the druken Rooster Cogburn. The updates also co-stars Matt Damon and Josh Brolin. It comes out Christmas Day 2010.

Looks pretty damn good. Hopefully it's not too hammy. The original True Grit is a classic, but I also felt that it could've been that much better had it been a darker, grittier Wayne's "The Searchers", rather than a borderline-comedy/action film.
Looks like the update takes that darker turn. Coen Brothers + Western + Jeff Bridges = Gold.
