The outro to Catcher sounds great, it was always my favourite piece of the demo but the album version is just a mess. But this accoustic version has Axls vocals driving it with the guitars only subtly complementing them, the way it should be. The CD version is a tragedy.

The irony is Slash & Izzy begged him for years to do this.

Not really nuts about that version of Catcher. It's a decent live cut, don't get me wrong, but I don't see amazing outside of the fact the song has always been amazing.

Now Whole Lotta Rosie... said it the other day... i'll say it again - if someone took the video away and said it was a 1987 bootleg, i'd believe them. Axl sounds fucking awesome right now. Get his ass in a studio.

I think the problem always was Axl never touring with any consitency and working that voice out. Even every few years. I mean come on, the man hadn't done a full show in seven years in 2001. His voice sounded like shit, and continued through 2002, but you could slowly hear him getting better. By MSG 2002 he sounded the best of any of those shows, than bam, gone, reset button.

2006 he sounded better, but it was slowly getting better and better. 2009-10 no different. Right now, he's finally got it. He's fuckin' vintage again. I'm quite amazed actually. That Axl can be nearly 50, and sound so good. That "prime" of his artistic career that we all missed because he vanished... this is probably vocally what we would've got.

Fuck man, it's such a shame to hear Axl sounding so good, and hear Slash sounding so good, but separately from each other.

AMEN  that video of slash shredding really made me miss all thoes old shows. Ron and DJ are doing a good job here. At least we get to still enjoy them both. Would be awesome if someone meshed slashes lead into some of these vids  of recent gigs 9

Highlights : Priceless!"Bon Jovi  can suck my dick"  axl talks to crowd, kohd Scream & more
