Re: Stinson Vents at Del James During Dublin Concert
Since the 02 VMAs, the lyric I've always had in my head (regardless of my constant stance until recently as very Pro-Axl) is "Once there was this rock n roll band rolling on the streets...." well, you know the rest.
Wow, thats a good one. Prophetic

Nice.
Re: Stinson Vents at Del James During Dublin Concert
When has Slash ever walked out on stage and told a crowd what the deal is, even in Velevet Revolver when Scott's going on late was his biggest issue with him? Never. You can pretty much write off Duff and Izzy from ever doing another GNR stint outside a one off show. Slash would put up with Axl's crap. And then complain about it later when things fell apart.
But it's not going to happen.
No one ever said that he was gonna spill the beans of the guy's life story. Slash several times during GN'R and I know at least of a few times during VR, came out and explained to the crowd the reasons for delays.
That's all an audience wants, and Slash has done it time and again. That's what will happen. Axl seems to have a major problem with that. He has no problem blaming people, but when he's the problem, he refuses to come out on stage...

I've never heard of him doing that. Not saying it isn't possible, but I've never heard of him doing it, or telling 40,000 people that the lead singer, Scott or Axl, were the reason why they were late, or whatever the "real" deal was. Never heard of him doing it in GNR or VR.
