just because the promoter behaved unprofessionally doesn't mean axl/GnR have to.. i can see axl's pov if if he did come on late to spite the promoter but that needs to be weighed against the greater good which is the fans who want to see the band & IF the delay was axl proving a point & the cancellation of leeds is completely unjustiable.
just because a promoter is a dick doesn't mean the fans should suffer a substandard show or no-show.

Could people please stop defending GN'R. They don't deserve it and now they're trying to make the promoter look like the bad guy after they went on really late. And not late as in they arrived at the venue late, they were at the venue. They just didn't want to go on. Dicks.

Thinking the promoter is a dumbass doesn't mean you are defending GNR. The subjects are not mutually exclusive.

And while we're at it, could people please stop putting words in people's mouths.

If you have a strict curfew, don't book GNR. Simple as that. Promoter is a dumbfuck not to know this. Doesn't make Axl a hero. But the promoter was the instigator all week.

That is absolutely true. It got nothing to do with other matters in this case, but you should know what you're booking.
