I hear people bashing because they preferred the leaks, when in fact, the only reason you prefer the leaks are because of the huge positive emotional rush you got when you listened to them for the first time, that rush is remembered on each successive listen.

I get what you're saying and agree that CD and a tour would've been much, much more successful if handled right, but whatever, it wasn't and future release and tours won't be either. I've accepted that.
The thing is, it is admirable he's going to do things his way, no matter what. But its also pretty stupid, imo. The world doesn't share the opinion of going on late and shit as rock n roll. And you need to get your music out to as many people as possible. He doesn't do that. Shit, there's rarely any new music to get to people. And they're not going to see how he conducts himself and the band as having "integrity."
But... I think some members here who:
1. Don't think CD was any good.
2. Don't think he should keep his band's name.
3. Only wants a reunion.
4. Will not accept any kind of positive outlook or opinion on the band.
5. Refuse to accept any success, on any level the band gets.
6. Does not like the new line up. Period.
They don't understand that the world doesn't share their view, either. Case in point:

Absolutely. I love the leaks because they're not cluttered and over produced. Positive, emotional rush has nothing to do with it.
