Just listened again, SCOM is beyond sick, its an amazing cover, Myles' voice over the acoustic guitar is something special, and Slash plays the solo pretty true to the original on a freaking acoustic, BADASS!!!!!!!!!  I am blown away.

Loving it also.

Wasn't expecting to, as I'm not normally much of a fan of acoustic versions but these really rock - interesting to hear Cali with less layers on the vocals (although I love the electric version too)....

As for SCOM no one sings it like Axl, but Myles does it justice and I really like the feel slash gives it on the acoustic...second half sounds killer!

I just hope we get more and more Myles and Slash stuff in the future, they really go well IMO.

Sweet jesus these are amazing. Especially SCOM, that SHOULD have been on the original album. I hope this prompts Myles & Slash to form a proper band together with Brent, Todd and Bobby and do a whole album together.

Probably the best non Axl version I have ever heard, and the acoustic guitar is just awesome.

Would be awesome. Or that that matter, break out Duff , Matt and Dave and be done with it. I don't really understand why if Myles can tour this heavily with slash without it messing with Alterbridge, why he can't just be in VR as well. I guess being front man of two bands would be a bit odd, but then the slash gigs are mounting up - they're playing here in March 2011 - so it's not like it was a few casual shows.

It's great to see slash with a strong vocalist again.
