even though there isnt any drums or bass it could still be done as well....i'm not opposed to it
bass guitar could just follow along with the rhythm guitar
the nwe need someone who knows what they are doing to mix it at the end

and i was thinking that it may work better if each part is recorded on its own...say if i do the rhythm then whoever does lead records but listen to the main track in headphones to make sure that it fits together? then it can be peieced together from all the masters at the end...or would it be better to layer it all as we go? problem with that of course is for peopel like me with shitty recording/playing equip will drag the project down

That's what's so cool about Patience, a bunch of guys from the board could do backing on the end. Or it could just be you alone, either way it would be cool.
The more the merrier. I think everyone can contribute to this part.

And everybody just record their part on it's own track. We'll make sure I end up with all of the tracks at the end, and I'll mix it.
