Round 2, Battle 5....Vote!
The song with the most votes will move on to the next round. You have 1 day.

Pearl Jam - Daughter

vs.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Note: Please uses the discussion and results thread to talk about the battles, results and general discussion about this GnREvolution Grunge Madness Tourney, just use the voting threads to place your votes.
Disclaimer: Do not forget to actually place your vote using the poll system. If you do not vote in the the poll then your vote will not count.
Tie Breaker Rule: I do not typically vote in the battles, as such if there is a tie at the end of the prescribed 1 day voting period then my vote will count only then to serve as the tiebreaker.

SLTS was always massively overrated. There are better Nirvana songs.

There's not one Pearl Jam song I like, so this tournament has been incredibly boring for me.

SLTS by a couple hundred miles.

You would have hated the early 90s. From 91-93 you literally could not get away from Pearl Jam. Even if you stabbed your eardrums out you still would have heard Jeremy.

While Nirvana had the massive grunge single, looking back I think Pearl Jam were actually played more.

I voted for Daughter. I like 3 Nirvana songs and this aint one of them....

Teen Spirit though I can see Daughter winning as well.  Versus was an entirely great album itself, the theme of it just reminds me of fall.  The impact of Teen Spirit was huge, which is why I'm going with it.  Surprised you don't like PJ CC.

since my vote is the tying vote i will not count it...

In "GnREvolution Grunge Madness" fire represents death, when the fades out, it goes up in flames, when the name is read, the decision is final and it must leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll go tally the votes.

Daughter bring me your torch.
