Paradise City was good, although Myles messed up and sang the Rags to riches verse twice instead of the "Strapped in the chair" verse. And he sang, "I wanna see. Oh look at me" instead of "how good it can be". Although I didn't know those were the actual lyrics till quite recently myself so I'll give him a pass on that one.
Good performance though. Slash was quite solid.
well in his defense, no teleprompter wonder how many lyrics Axl would butcher without it.:haha::butt:

Man, just watched paradise city again, that outro solo is fucking sick and he is playing with such precision. Axlin08, can you really deny Slash's live playing is at a VERY high level? Its awesome.

Axl's messed up his share of lyrics and songs too. Having to start songs over. "Patience" comes to mind. It happens. I was just pointing it out because I took notice right away. "Didn't he JUST sing that verse?"

I think Myles did sound pretty good even if he did have some lyric mistakes. He sames to enjoy singing the songs he is singing, and that means a lot to me. Cause sometimes Weiland seemed to go through the motions.

I've never denied Slash's live playing ability. Slash's live work is just fine, especially on AFD songs, his pinnacle of musicianship, and he plays them perfectly, having 23 years to perfect them.
I can't really say much, because GN'R play them great too, despite being a cover band.
The only issue i've taken force with his Slash's original material since 1991.
But if Slash were to rejoin Guns tomorrow, hit those opening chords to Jungle again, it would change the entire sound, and face of new GN'R, just with his presence alone. The whole sound would instantly revert back to 1993, and picking up where Guns N' Roses left off.

It does almost sound like his voice is TOO high at times. I enjoyed the performances, but I'd like to see him try a song with a lower register. Have they done "It's So Easy"?

Yeah, but I've seen Myles fuck up Civil War two or three times now (doing the "carry the cross of homicide" bit in the first chorus on both occasions. Someone sit him down with a lyrics sheet, for fuck's sake.
