this song was dragged up from the depths of my iPod today and i went to Wikipedia to see if i could find what the song is about...apparently Baz claims it was written about Adler, anyone ever hear that before?

That album has three of the best ballads of that era. Wasted Time, Quicksand Jesus and In a Darkened Room. They are pristine.

That album only had a few filler tracks. Truly showed how much potential the band had. Following it up with that bullshit EP during the grunge explosion was a colossal mistake that they would never recover from.

To go from 18 and Life and I Remember You to Slave to the Grind and In A Darkened Room was a huge progression. Slave to the Grind deserved a proper followup album.

I prefer In A Darkened Room out of those three tracks.

16, and I prefer Quicksand Jesus. Never really heard the Steven correlation. I tend to turn songs into my own personal meanings.

Skid Row, still one of those amazing bands that only had two good albums, and then bam, gone and dead. Nothing Baz-less Skid Row or Baz-solo has even came close to those first two.

I know Subhuman Race has this cult-love, but i've always maintained that it sucks on wheels.
