I'm still in shock that UYI II won that 90s album elimination last year.
it won because among the fanbase, where people are more familiar with all the catalog, they enjoy uyi2 a lot more.
the casual music fan only knows uyi1 because of don;t cry and nov rain and you coud be mine

It didn't just suck because UYI2 won, it sucks because as soon as it was down to the final 5 it was obvious a UYI album was going to win. It was almost like a Survicvor show alliance where they'd just vote off 3 or 4 straight people from the other side so you knew someone of them would go. I'm not saying people unfairly slanted the polling, or teamed up, but if Estanged, Dont Cry, & NR end up in the final 8, a 90's poll would just become a joke, all that effort for naught.
(I like Estranged, but personally I'd say Civil Was is GnRs best 90s song.)
