Just to throw this out there, i've never thought rap was a great medium to explore dark, drug & psychological struggle. Sure you have Ice-T & NWA and stuff like that, but that's more of a social struggle thing, and that works.
I've always felt rap lacked the soulful and philosophical depth needed to pull off such a feat. Rock & blues has always kind of been the kings in that department. Country can do it, and it's reflective, but usually not "deep".

I'm really glad to hear he's gonna just shoot a straight album. If we're gonna recycle anything, let's recycle Stan, not Without Me. I don't even remember that last schtick song he did, where he was making fun of Palin and Kim Kardashian... fuck off... Em, you're better than those fucktards.
Agreed on the skits but fuck you on the Without Me comment. 
Stan is awesome though, I will agree with that. Dude is one of the best lyricists ever when he takes shit seriously, but I do enjoy his silly stuff too.

fans will be surprised when they look at the tracklist for the Detroit lyricists latest album, as they won't be seeing usual suspects 50 Cent and Dr. Dre (the latter of which has appeared on every single major label Eminem solo release).In fact, only one rapper made the cut: Lil Wayne. Joining Em for the track "No Love," the Young Money head honcho repays the favor for the duo's previous track together, "Drop the World."
The rest of the features consist solely of singers, as Kobe, Pink and Rihanna, the last of whom maybe be a surprise to fans of Relapse, as Eminem rapped, "I'll be on Rihanna/ See man I do what I wanna."
Also notably absent from the guest list is D12, who have not appeared on an Eminem release since 2004's Encore.
