Re: Noes
Has anyone gone and seen Nightmare today? I was thinking about going and seeing it tonight and didn't want to be the guinea pig lol!
Re: Noes
I'm not going to, just because i've been too burnt by these remakes. Halloween II-2009 was the final straw.
All i've heard about NOES-2010 is that reviews are saying it's "Same old, same old" (which is pretty much been the review for all these remakes). Haley's performance has been praised, but said to be too limited, and still inferior to Robert Englund, and most are saying "they miss Englund", and that he's irreplaceable.

Re: Noes
Alright, I just saw it, and actually really liked it. Haley's Kruger was fucking creepy. There were a few puns, but Haley was creepy enough in doing so that it wasn't stand-up Freddy. I'm sure there are some here that won't care for it, but this is just my personal opinion. I actually read a review where they complained about how dark the movie is. A complaint? I love movies that are dark and fucked up. I suggest everyone see it to form their own personal opinion. WAAAAYYY better than the Friday the 13th remake.
Re: Noes
That's horseshit, though. I guarantee those same people saying Englund is irreplacable are the same ones who hated the franchise to begin with. I think RE's Freddy was THE lamest horror character of all time.
Englund as Freddy is an icon.
