Kinda odd that he'd do Melbourne, then Brisbane, then Sydney when Sydney is between Melbourne and Brisbane.
I'm gonna definitely get along to the Enmore gig, that's where VR were supposed to play on their last canceled tour here.

It's strange that we are all hardcore GN'R fans here, for years, yet some of us haven't seen them live.
Izzy is the only one who's missing from my list, but my chances are slim to get a show with him.

Yeah when VR first came to Australia I bought my ticket for the Perth gig (even had it in my hands) then just before the tour started they cancelled the Perth date. Obviously VR never made it back to Oz on the Libertad tour as the Weiland problems occured and the wheels fell off before it happened.
When GNR last toured with Slash in 1993 they played 2 shows, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne (the other side of the country for me). I was only 18 or 19 at the time and couldn't afford to fly to the east coast to see them (plane travel within Australia is ridiculously expensive). Prior to that they came to Oz in 1988 - same deal only 2 shows on the east coast and I was 13 or 14.
So I have never had the pleasure of seeing this motherfucker live

Ok I have made the decision I am going to fly to Sydney to see Slash there. Watching those clips from MTV Classic made up my mind!!
Yeah, come over, we'll catch up for a beer while you're here!

Cool that would be good. Yeah I figured the Sydney gig would probably work best since it is on a Monday and the other 2 gigs are middle of the week. At least with a Monday I can make a long weekend out of it and have some extra fun going out the other nights over the weekend.

This makes me want to crash the sydney gig too then we can have an Oz Evo Meet Up!! But I think i wont be able to get out of my work comittments that day....but I'll look into it!
When do tix go on sale this fri?
