I'll agree he's changed his view on VR, but I think that's probably just a case of "What can we expect him to say, given they rejected him?", you'd have to have some level of hurt feelings even as a professional, and likewise Axl has been a good friend to him, and so perhaps he feels a sence of loyality to Axl that way. But even so I don't think i've seen Baz really posting Anti-slash stuff other than to say he liked his own album more than VR's album type thing.

As for Angry Anderson, I'd guess he was somewhat of a mentor to both Axl and Slash back in the day, and what can I say, us aussies don't tend to involve ourselves in other people's shit unless someone calls us into it wink

Maybe I used the wrong word, but it irritates me how Sebastian can hail any new album he has as the best ever and support his then side so blindly.

Monkeychow, when you met him was he just as excitable, hypo and enthusiastic in person?  Did he used the word "mindblowing" in his conversation with you?   16

lol - I just imagine that the guy would be exactly the same in person as his onstage/interview persona.  Not saying it's a bad thing, I just think it's funny, he wears his heart on his sleeve.  I imagine what you see is what you get.

What I mean is, typically people who collaborate/perform with those guys end up picking sides. Alice Cooper was Axl's boy back in the day, now he seems to only associate with Slash. Baz was with the VR guys, now he only associates with Axl, and so on.

Izzy seems to be the only middle man.

When was Baz with the VR guys? Wasn't it Slash that suggested calling up Alice Cooper for 'The Garden'? WTF are you talking about? Ever hear of Kid Rock & M. Shadows? How much uniformed shit are you going to post in this section? Seriously, nothing you post here is even close to being accurate.

Me uninformed, and you didn't even know that Baz auditioned for VR, before ever reconnecting with Axl?

Wow, I must be the smartest mother fucker on the planet.

Oh, and by the way, Axl & Slash collaborated with Alice long before The Garden was recorded. Remember the Under My Wheels cover?

I'm uninformed, and inaccurate.

Hahhaha...yeah...don't think he got mindblowing out...but you've hit the nail on the head, he's just a really genuine guy, he seemed  very much like he was on Eddie Trunk...loud, fun and loves his music. He also took quite a bit of time to chat with me and one or two other people, posed for pics, signed stuff for us and even made sure he got the other band members to also sign the Angel Down cover we had, he generally went out of his way to be nice, especially considering we basicly jumped him at an airport and it wasn't an official function.

Whatever you say Limbaugh. Just more nonsensical jibberjabber & drawing assinine conclusions.

Has M. Shadows picked a side? Has Kid Rock picked a side? Has Josh Freese picked a side?

Where did this even start? I made a simple innocent comment about Slash performing with Angry, and correlating it to Axl (you know, because they were both in one of the biggest fucking rock bands to ever exist, AND COVERED one of Angry's songs).

NEEMO SAID "FEUD"

Not me. I never even brought that shit up.

So in the best news for me ever, I have now won a ticket to this event and will be there!!

Thanks heaps to Mikka for alerting to me to this tour in the first place, Aussie for his advice, and also to MTV Classic for looking after a fan.

Best thing is I have to go into Hospital for a minor operation on Thursday, and I hate stuff like that, so have been dreading next week, but now that i'm seeing Slash wednesday night, it's going to be a great week afterall.  smile

Alice Cooper mentions Axl quite a bit on his breakfast show and is always complimentary, you can tell he's still cool with Axl.

Axl and Slash will have loads of mutual freinds, its unavoidable. When Baz was recording Angel Down and told Axl he wanted to cover Back In The Saddle, Axl immediately picked up his phone and called Steven Tyler to ask him if it was cool. I dont think Axl is as unconnected and isolated as people think, he just keeps his private life, private.
