the gear is supposed to go straight to Europe from Puerto Rico.
Hold the phone. Now I know this isn't the pressing issue because well the stage just collapsed... again. And a lot of fans now don't get to see the band which sucks.
But GNR's first scheduled (as of this time of writing) European gig, isn't until
June 5th. Why is the gear need to go over so early? I don't know if this is how this kind of thing is usually done but a whole month and a half early! It's too late to start selling tickets for shows before then, so why ship the gear across this early.

Dj ASHBAâ„¢ I was devastated when I heard the show was canceled in Costa Rica. Unbelievable to me that over 20,000 tickets were sold, we come to town ready to play, and can't. The stage was deemed "Unsafe" I truly am sorry and bummed for each and everyone of the fans that bought tickets and were looking forward to the GN'R concert .... I am in El Salvador, we are very much looking forward to the concert. Hope to see you all there!

After the show didn't happen in Costa Rica on the 9th, I took GNR fans
in the hotel with me to a remote spot outside and gave them a good
2-hour-ish personal acoustic show, with their wonderful help on vocals,
acoustic bass, and a guitar for me to use. Had to make music that
night, I wish it could have been as it should ha...ve been, but at least
tried to bring smiles to the group that was there, as they did for me

yea & didn't he say gnr management advised him not to do those impromtu concerts due to security issues??
this is the almost bending over backwards stuff that faldor was talking about. you would NEVER EVER have seen bucket or finck, or axl for that matter, do this sort of thing for Guns fans.
