Re: Slash's album sales predictions
What kind of a fan are you Neemo? Even I got my copy yesterday. Though I must admit, I really only bought it the first day because I was sick and needed to run to the store to get some meds. Figured while I was there might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Re: Slash's album sales predictions
Sales will be below expectations because it's just not very good. He aimed for a Santana type breakthrough with the mainstream and fell flat on his face. The first single needed to take off in a big way for there to be huge sales initially. He has so many stars on this that it could easily get a second wind though. I will offer him token support and buy Ghost on Itunes, and will support Cornell by purchasing Promise on there as well.
The rest of the album can take a long walk off a short pier....

probably tryin' to get some chinese democracy off the shelves with it.
Yeah apparently they did stick some copies of Chinese Democracy in the display with Slash's CD. Can't hurt I guess. I'm sure there are still some people who either think Slash is still in GNR or maybe he's re-joined and that's the reason the CD's are on display together.
Re: Slash's album sales predictions
call me optimistic but i think he could top 125,000
I think that's WAY high. I'd take the under on that. I think BLS and Gong are probably going to be a little more accurate around the 62K mark.
Is the album still trending as #1 on iTunes? Anybody have the figures for the album that was #1 on iTunes last week?
