Re: DELETE> Chinese Democracy Multitrack!se NOW
I don't undertsand the fuss to be honest. Multitracks are fun to dick around with in audiosoftware to make a remix as a hobby, or for fans to listen closer to a particular guitar solo or something....but people around here are fussing like it's some kind of unreleased GNR album doing the rounds.....
Re: DELETE> Chinese Democracy Multitrack!se NOW
Yeah people seem to seriously over estimate the interest in these things. Personally I couldn't give a flying fuck about them but I can see how some people might be interested in tinkering around with them.
Beyond that though, they really don't have the value that these people seem to be placing on them. I still get a laugh that secret squirrel games continue to go on. "GNR lawyers", "stopping progres of hundereds of other songs" blah blah blah. I am sure the only people that care are the dozen or so egg heads that are directly involved in trying to lie, cheat and steal each other out of these things. Outside of them the rest of the world don't care!
If you've got em then just dump em onto the forums then move on with your life. If they appear that's great some people will enjoy listening and playing with them. But if they don't nobody is gonna lose any sleep over it.

Re: DELETE> Chinese Democracy Multitrack!se NOW
I'd kinda like to hear the multitracks just to pick out the layers of guitars and synths and vocals in the songs. But they're a curiosity, nothing more.
Now, a clean version of Catcher in the Rye with Brian May on guitar, or Atlas Shrugged, or Checkmate... now we're talking.
