Myles Kennedy to join VR?

^ Yeah I played Starlight today to a friend and she asked me if it was The Darkness cos she thought the highparts were too dramaticly high. So i see what you mean. Although at the same time I want someone in VR with a massive range like axl has. But they have to hit the highstuff without going camp...it's a fine line.

If you listen he starts the song pretty high. The singing on the whole thing is high. it makes the higher points seem really high

Man, Back from Cali is badass too, I have grown to love his voice... He has great control of his voice.... A lot of soul and passion.. Can't wait to hear his take on some GNR tunes...

Never been a fan of Myles... his voice just does nothing for me. I know he has a great technical voice with amazing range ya da ya da ya da

but i feel absolutely nothing when he sings...

Myles however DOES sound awesome over SLash's guitar... those two songs Back to Cali and Starlight have grown on me like a mofo.

Damn right, and when cranked in your car you can hear so much more vs. the compressed versions, the production is pretty outstanding on most the tracks!

I listened to both Myles songs online. I didn't hear him trying to be Axl a any point in either song. Neither song sounds anything like GnR in my opinion.
