Dj ASHBAâ„¢ Just about went to jail tonight in Rio. I walked into the hotel bar, the bartender was a complete asshole to me, and rude to all my friends for no reason. So I threw my beer at the him, it smashed behind the bar, I put my foot threw the bar door and chased him out of the hotel. All is good, managers showed up fired him and apologies to me! Fun night in Rio!Ha! Can't wait ti play tomorrow!!! See ya's there!

Yeah when I read that tweet it sounded to me like DJ was the one that acted like the biggest dick out of the situation.
So the guy was rude that still doesn't warrant throwing your beer bottle at him. If you don't like the service LEAVE, or make a complaint to his manager.
I hope he felt like a big man afterwards. I would imagine the bartender was fired because the guy from GNR said he was rude - no further questions asked by his managers. Nice work, you just used your position/influence to cost a guy his job, because he was apparently rude. Lets hope he doesn't have a family that was relying on that income.

who knows if he was really even fired or not, maybe he was sent home to put ona good face to high paying customers? ...anyway typcially in a job you be courteous to your customers when at all possible, i mean we dont know the wholes story behind the incident obviously, and i'm notsaying that the extreme dj went to was necessary, but anyone in retail or service industry... what would happen to you if you insult the customer or are overly rude to a group of them? now what if they were a celebrity and were gonna pay $1000's of dollars in service/product in one go?

between this and the hotel incident with the smoking DJ is at least bringing back some of the swagger and meaning behind the most dangerous band in the world tag they still like to use, i woiuld never do these things personally but then again im not a rock star...breaking shit and throwing a fit is (or used to be commonplace) whatever i dont care, DJ was cool as hell to me when i met him

exactly ... i'll keep the tiger woods annaolgy in here as well...i dont like dj for what he does at the bar, i like him for his stage presence and his ability on guitar, i dont like axl cuz he bites the legs of security guards, fights with tommy hilfiger or cuz he attacks paparattzi in the airport, i like him for his songwriting, vocal skills and ability as a performer in general, all the rest is a sideshow

If Axl had done it, I would have said the same thing, but Axl is beyond the sense of what DJ should have in his brain. When Axl throws fits, it's entertainment, too late to change his way or expect him to know better. Whoever tries to copy him are just copycats and wannabes and makes a fool out of themselves as they go.
