Re: Ozzy Osbourne New Album Title Revealed
According to Usatoday.com, OZZY OSBOURNE's new song, 'Let Me Hear You Scream', from his upcoming album, Scream, will have its world premiere on an episode of CSI:NY, to air on CBS April 14 (10 p.m., ET/PT).
In this episode, a death row inmate's (guest Harold Perrineau) final request brings Dr. Hawkes (series regular Hill Harper) to a Pennsylvania prison and to confront a tragic incident that he has kept secret for many years, just as a prison riot erupts and traps Hawkes inside.
Scream was produced by Osbourne and Kevin Churko. The disc will be the first to feature new guitarist Gus G. (FIREWIND) and is expected to be in stores this summer.
Scream is the follow-up to Ozzy's last LP, Black Rain, which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2007. The album has shifted more than 500,000 copies in the United States alone. In its first week, Black Rain sold 152,000 units, which was enough for a #3 debut on Billboard's Top 200 albums sales chart.

Bad Choice. The Term Scream when used as an album title is cursed.

Down made a good song with "scream" in the title.
Motley Crue had a good song with "scream" in the title.
It's been a long ass time since Ozzy gave me a tune to get excited about.
Black Rain was awful. Zakk tuned down to drop-J through amp simulators. I don't think there was a real amp on that album. Ozzy was auto-tuned like a motherfucker too.

Exactly. Zakk down tunes to the point where every riff sounds like sludge and it all sounds the same.
I don't think we'll ever get Randy era quality Ozzy music again, but I'd at least like to hear something like No More Tears or No Rest For The Wicked. Tune to standard, or maybe half a step down, and write some interesting riffs with melody!
Re: Ozzy Osbourne New Album Title Revealed
i heard the preview of the song the other day on the radio...doesnt sound too promising..aparentl;y you can go on youtube and see the csi preview and it features a clip of the new ozzy tune
i liked black rain, but your right zakk was getting a bit repetative at that point...workign with ozzy and bls in tandem wasnt a good idea in retrospect

I'll take Perry Mason again.
