When I first heard that song, I felt like it was how a modern day old GNR would have sounded(minus Weiland obviously) had they continued. Closest they(or Axl) ever came to that "feel".
Wouldn't be surprised if it was from the "best GNR album yet" that Izzy, Duff, Slash, and Sorum recorded before Weiland was brought aboard. Izzy wasn't credited of course, so that probably isn't the case.
