I am not an Adam Levine/Maroon 5 fan, so take this with a grain of salt.

This is just complete schmaltzy crap. I love this line. "You just get me/like I've never been gotten before". What a third-grade lyric.
And the construction of the song baffles me. It's like:
Lalala, nice soft song, hmmm, hmmmm, HERE'S THE LOUDASS FUCKING SOLO, RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEAD, pretty little song again, ladidlala, i'm adam levine and i sing like a chick.
Otherwise, nice tune.

No that it's too loud, but like it was from another song entirely. Kind of like some of the Chinese Democracy songs.

Sounds okay to me. I don't see this one growing on me though. I've never really been a big Maroon 5 fan. Adam Levine seems like a cool enough dude though, since he did go on The Howard Stern Show. But that hasn't turned me into a fan of his music.
"Starlight" is still THE ballad on the album for me. I don't need another one.
With that being said, it is possible the song could be a hit since Adam has had a few recently (I think).
