That just seems like the most logical explanation to me. I've reached that level so many times. I'm drinking and feeling good, pretty coherent, then all of a sudden BAM! I mean it seems drastic sitting here watching it, but it's completely feasible. The major problem if that is the case is his sobriety. Is he supposedly clean right now? Or is he just supposedly in control? Either way, he doesn't seem to be all there in that clip.
According to him he's only into alcohol and won't give that up. But he also went on to say that isn't a problem anymore because when he drinks he doesn't get a craving for heroine anymore.

What a damn shame Scott Weiland can't keep his shit together long enough to avoid shit like this happening. STP seemed to be firing on all cylinders, with a new album about to come out and all.

I know right.
According the multiple sources the show last night went off amazingly and was being filmed for VH1. Scott seemed sober, but then again his daughter was there.

Pre-cisely. That's exactly what I thought when I read that interview with him recently.
Classic addict behavior. Trading one addiction for another, and you're never really whipping the problem.
Next, he'll go the way of Busey. He'll get off of booze, and become a radical God nut.
