Re: Axl being sued for $1.8M by Front Line Management
Axl Rose has allegedly been hogging some of Guns 'N Roses' profits -- and now one company says it's looking to get its hands on his money, honey.
Front Line Management claims it was hired to be Axl's personal manager in 2008 -- and was promised a 15% cut of all the cash Guns N' Roses raked in ... but never got a penny.
In the lawsuit, filed in L.A County Superior Court, Front Line claims the band made in excess of $12,470,000 while performing throughout Asia, Canada and South America.
The company says it wants at least $1,870,500.
Calls to Axl's people have not been returned.

on the yahoo report, it says, "oral agreement", well hell, that doesn't hold water... Plus Axl probably feels like nobody is managing them... Wasn't he complaining earlier how he had no support for the tour?

Azoff got CD out, and then just disappeared. Axl bitched throughout that process that support from Universal was minimal, and management was non-existant.
I personally think that as soon as Azoff find out that a reunion was not going to happen under any circumstances, that putting up with Axl's ego was just that much harder, and Azoff washed his hands pretty quick. And if it was an "oral agreement"... forget it. That shit will get thrown out instantly, unless Front Line can produce witnesses to the oral agreement that can sway the court.
But management for GN'R has pretty much been a revolving door since Goldstein.
Are they managed by Doc McGhee now? Was that ever confirmed?
