April 2? There are no good CDs coming out that week according to the list I saw. He should have a clear path.

Indeed!

The more I hear, the more impressed I am. Hell, that song Watch This sounds like it will be worth the price alone! 9

Aargh, I want it, badly.

He's really good at promoting this with limited means as well, by the way. I love these little videos and updates.

That's my piece on the matter. I want my Slash instrumental album. You guys enjoy this one.

Actually, you know what would be cool? If he offered a CD of the tracks in instrumental form, like Dream Theater did with Black Clouds and Silver Linings. I think I've listened to the instrumentals as much as or more than the ones with LaBrie's vocals.

And that was a brilliant fucking move on DT's part actually.

Not to slight LaBrie, because the guy has metal-pipes, but I remember when I first listented to Images and Words & Awake, stuff like that and started to get a feel for the band, that they were brilliant instrumental composers. There were times I wanted LaBrie's vocals out of there, because they had really lovely keyboards and technically amazing shredding work.

I liked that they went that route with Black Clouds.

I wish Slash would've done the same. If Slash were to release an iTunes only release of this with the vocals gone... i'm fucking there. 9

I love LaBrie, he's a true vocalist. Very good at what he does. Unfortunately, the other guys are probably better at their craft than LaBrie.

Now, back to Slash.

It sounds very good. I think Slash's holding back some supposed big guns, like the Promise, Starlight and Saint Is a Sinner. We haven't got too much of those songs, but he talked nice things about the Cornell snf Kennedy tune, and the DeLuca number is my favourite right now. Alright, I've heard only 30 seconds, but that was very promising.

I guess i just prefer vocals. Like on the "Watch this" track that leaked. It's killer...but I can't help but listening going "would be better with words" must be my brain. But it does kick ass anyway i'll grant!
