The only thing that turned me off a bit was Tom Hanks sounding like a dumbass the other day talking about the series, and how absurdly ignorant he is as a WWII historian. I thought "it can't be that good with a showrunner that dumb".

But i'll give it a shot. I liked Band of Bros...
