Re: São Paulo, Brazil - March 13, 2010 (Palestra Itália Stadium)
Yeah, like I've been saying. I've raised concerns over his voice. It sounds very rough, almost sour. He held back on it a little listening to those bar videos. He better be a little cautious. 1992-93 isn't really what he should sound like, with a healthy voice...and he's heading in that direction.

The mini rant about the no show the other night can be heard/seen on the live stream, which is saved on the site.
In essence though, this is pretty much what Axl said.
He said that he met some guy at one of the acoustic NY gigs and he asked him if they'd play an acoustic gig in Brazil. Axl said no, but the guy went ahead and booked it anyway. So he planned on doing the gig, but after their last show his throat wasn't feeling so good. He then apologized if he wasn't hitting all his high notes (tonight). So he said he was faced with the decision of playing the acoustic show for a couple hundred people and face potential further harm to his throat which could prevent tonights show, or let his throat heal. Obviously, he chose the latter.
Shackler's on now
