It was a different world growing up than we live in today that's for sure. None of this rap-girl-butt cam on TV, girl's didn't seem to go around semi-naked when out for the night like they do now....no internet porn.....it was a world where the most likely I was to see a hot body was if the local bra store dropped off a catalogue in my folks letterbox....and damn if that wasn't like christmas......

Definitely sad but not shocking at all. I liked alot of his movies. Dream a little Dream was great, License to Drive, Lost Boys and there was this other movie with Nicole Eggert and Corey Feldmen called Blown Away, that was a good movie. Sucks to be addicted to something you just can't get under control.

I was just thinking the same thing! That movie became a cult flick due to Nicole Eggert (hottest chick alive back then, from Charles in Charge & Baywatch fame) being nude or topless in it. Although, I think it might have been a body double, but I forget if they showed her face in it or not.

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, looking back - Blown Away was really Haim's last significant movie. Took on a cult appeal, and he was the lead star for the film. He also did a pretty good job with it too.
Haim fucked up real bad. That cat used to be engaged to Nicole Eggert, and still chose drugs over her. Fuck - addiction is a bitch.
