Re: Belo Horizonte, Brazil - March 10, 2010 (Ginásio Jornalista Felipe)
They played EXACTLY the same set? The good thing is that 8 CD songs were on the list.
Edit: it seems like they played the short show the fans reported. What a lame and ridiculous setlist.
Re: Belo Horizonte, Brazil - March 10, 2010 (Ginásio Jornalista Felipe)
Wait, which setlist is correct? The long one being reported in the papers or the short one reported on by fans at the show?
I'd believe the fans over a reporter. Why would they leave out 5 songs and say the show was only 2 hours long?

OK. Crisis averted.
Ever since that first Hammerstein night, I'd shit if I went to a GN'R show and they didn't play Better.
There was no "Better". The setlist in the paper was just grabbed from the first show. Only 2 hours, 15 songs, 4 from CD. Which is about average for most bands. But THIS is GNR we're talking about. I can't say I'd be upset with the set if I was at the show because I'm sure it kicked tons of ass. But compared to the other shows, this one and Seoul didn't get the full treatment.

Just saw that as well.....they went on very early, I'm wondering if there was some form of venue curfew...seems odd they would be that off the norm. Maybe Axl is having throat problems and needed to cut it short or risk messing up the whole tour....

Yeah it must've been something. By all accounts Axl was in great spirits, band sounded good. No reports of any technical issues. And they did go on early, can't imagine they would've been flirting with going past any curfews the venue might have had.
