I am super happy that The Hurt Locker took best picture.   That was a great movie and Kathryn Bigelow deserved best director.   The one thing about Avatar is that technically it's deserving of the tech awards but not as a movie itself for best pic.

I thought it was cool that the Oscar's had a horror tribute.   I've never seen that before..It was great!

Cool that Bullock actually won an Oscar. Looking forward to watching her performance. She basically plays the same role in all her movies, so I cant wait to see what elevates this specific one to being worthy of an award.
