Re: Take Ten (list your 10 faves of any group)

As for Big Love, which version would you include?
How many versions are there?? Am I missing out?:nervous:
There's the original full band version that appears on "Tango In The Night". Then there's the solo acoustic version Lindsay does on the Fleetwood album "The Dance" and at their shows as well. Let me know which one you don't have and I'll hook you up.
I just downloaded The Dance version. Not too shabby, but I prefer the original version.
Buckingham is a great songwriter. Alot of people consider their 80's stuff too cheesy and poppy, but there's great lyrics behind that fluff.

It's Now Or Never
Always On My Mind
You Don't Have To Say You Love Me
Walk A Mile In My Shoes
You Gave Me A Mountain
Bridge Over Troubled Water
American Trilogy
There Goes My Everything
Just Pretend
My Way (1977 CBS Special Version)WELL! That was agonizing, lol. That's the best I could do with only ten cuts to pick. "Just Pretend" was/is my wedding song and it's probably my favorite overall.
I'm surprised you listed "You Gave Me A Mountain". I came very close to adding that one myself. My cousin was a huge Elvis fan and I heard alot of this stuff growing up. You Gave Me A Mountain had so much anguish and emotion in it. Judging from the song it must have been a song that he found to be a statement of how he felt about his breakup with Priscilla. I like American Trilogy too.
