Whether we "deserve" them or not is beside the point. We know that the 07 leaks had been in circulation for YEARS. They just were never leaked. Now that we are entering another silent era, it might be years before anything else leaks. With GNR never doing anything, the value of any unheard tracks will always be high.

The points in my post still stand. We are clearly in a silent era, and in no way, shape, or form do songs leak from hoarders. Do I want songs to leak? Sure. Will they leak if they are not officially sanctioned leaks? Absolutely not.

Personally...i'm looking forward to when CD finally comes out and all those people's leaks become about as relevant as the demos of UYI are today.

I don't think the fanbase deserves anything. I'm honestly ashamed of it.
And anyways, I'd rather see the album come out.. more leaks is only going to delay this even longer.

I feel the exact opposite. I think a massive leak might be the only way the thing ever gets released. Axl will want to make some money instead of no money. Regardless of what stage the songs are in, if we get a massive leak(4 to 7 more unheard songs), then fans and media will consider it Chinese Democracy and the reviews will be written and cries for a reunion will increase.
If the entire album leaked tomorrow, you would see an official release date announced on Tuesday.
