Re: 9/11 Commission members questions their own investigation

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission (Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton) said that the CIA (and likely the White House) "obstructed our investigation".

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission also said that the 9/11 Commissioners knew that military officials misrepresented the facts to the Commission, and the Commission considered recommending criminal charges for such false statements, yet didn't bother to tell the American people

Indeed, the co-chairs of the Commission now admit that the Commission largely operated based upon political considerations.

9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerrey said that "There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version," Kerrey said. The commission had limited time and limited resources to pursue its investigation, and its access to key documents and witnesses was fettered by the administration. "I didn't read a single PDB," Kerrey said, referring to the president's daily intelligence briefing reports. "We didn't have access to Khalid Shaikh Mohammed," the mastermind of the plot. "We accepted a compromise, submitting our questions to him through the CIA. Now, that's not the best way to go about getting your questions answered."

9/11 Commissioner Timothy Roemer said  "We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting"

Former 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland resigned from the Commission, stating: "It is a national scandal"; "This investigation is now compromised"; and "One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up".

(In December 2003, Cleland stepped down from the commission to become a member of the board of directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.)

9/11 Commissioner John Lehman said that “We purposely put together a staff that had – in a way - conflicts of interest".

The Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission (John Farmer) who led the 9/11 staff's inquiry, said "I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described .... The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years.... This is not spin. This is not true."

Here we go again.  If we had a vote of subject matter experts (meaning people with degrees in Physics) on the issue, what would the tally almost unanimously favor?

Anytime scientists are in near unanimous agreement you have to be suspicious.

That being said, I happen to believe that 9/11 happened basically as the authorities claim it happened.

Oh really?  So we should question if the Earth is really round or that boozing while preagnant is bad?  That line of thought defeats the whole concept of higher learning and education.

Some people get off to this kind of shit because it gives them a sense of superiority.  They know something the rest of us are too weak or timid to handle.  Same argument is used to refute that Oswald killed Kennedy when the lone gunmen theory has been proven quite easily accomplished time and time again.

99.9% of the time the people who advocate these theories have no formal background or even basic understanding in the related field.

What is a shame is there is some concern in the underlying theme behind 9/11 truthers.  Namely the World Banks, but all that is swept aside when we take it to a whole new level and claim the US Govt blew up its own buildings.

Jesse Ventura is a fucking moron. I heard him at the exact same time he was on Stern, on another show, talking all about that 9/11 conspiracy shit, and the fucking idiot was talking how fire turns to black smoke when you put water on it... roll

The dude just runs his mouth, no different than if he was talking to Gene fuckin' Okerlund. No credibility AT ALL.

9/11 was not staged, because the theory doesn't play. In the same breath that the government is run by a foolish idiot (Bush), the next it's run by Cigarette Smoking Man. Just a bunch of basement-dwellers beating off to their own ego, before their shift at Starbucks.

I respectfully disagree....
while mr. ventura likes to hear himself talk, please listen to some of the facts before you discount the theory as complete bullshit.

and don't get me started about bush and obama.. they are the SAME.... puppets of the people REALLY calling the shots: the financial institutions that funded their campaigns.... and that really run this country...and have all of us by the balls...

I respectfully ask what the hell any of the above videos has to do with an intelligent discussion on the topic?  Loose Change has been debunked so many times, I'm actually suprised people still use it.  And of course, the 2nd video brings up the ever lasting Illuminati excuse.  It speaks for itself and of course, it provides no citations or proof of its claim.

Tyler... Ventura is a fucking moron. He's a demolitions expert who is convinced water on fire = black smoke. NO, it equals steam.

I'm sorry, I cannot take a former demolitions expert in the Navy SEALS seriously, when he doesn't even know what the fuck happens when you put out a fucking campfire.

So no, his credibility is shot to hell. And it's lame brains just like himself, are the reason NO ONE takes this conspiracy bullshit seriously. Because it attracts so many idiots.

Once again as a I said before, in one breath the government are a bunch of fools who are driving us into debt, and the next they masterminded the most evil cover up in world history.

In the words of my main man Lofton - "that dog don't hunt".

And just like Randall pointed out, as soon as a I hear "Loose Change" or "Illuminati", I completely check out. It's horseshit, and has been known to be that for years.
