There is something special about seeing a band in a different city/ different country.  Whilst it may be on the same tour and a relatively similar set, the different locations add to the uniqueness of the experience.

I'm jealous - ohh to be in Europe again and for 3 months too!!

Are you going to all 3 of those dates Bono?

Man you are going to have an awesome time touring around watching them at all different locations.

Yup. 2010 is looking pretty decent.

Saw them in 2009 at:
Toronto - September 16th
Toronto - September 17h
New Jersey - September 24th
Vancouver October 28th

so needless to say I'm pumped for summer 2010 especially those two European shows.   I'm gonna be in Europe for 3 months so I'm debating a few more shows but we'll see. Believe it or not there's more to life than U2 for me 14

that is quite a fucking trip....

~ Nominations for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards have been announced in Los Angeles tonight and U2 are in the running in three categories.

'No Line on the Horizon' is nominated for 'Best Rock Album' - up against albums from Green Day, AC/DC, Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood and Dave Matthews Band.

'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight' is nominated twice: for 'Best Rock Song' (up against Green Day, Kings of Leon, Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam) and for 'Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals' (along with Coldplay, Green Day, Kings of Leon and Clapton/Winwood).

We'll find out the winners next month. The GRAMMY Awards will be held on Jan. 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. ~

I totally agree with the best rock album nomination(when I see who else is nominated)  but I gotta laugh at IGCIIDGCT being nominated for best rock song. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with the Gammy's? That song CANNOT be nominated for best ROCK song. That's ridiculous.  Get On Your Boots is more rock than that song.

Still I don't think NLOTH should be in the best ROCK category. Album of the year sure but it's not really a rock album so I don't get it.  Not even sure if NLOTH is a pop album even.

Yeah, nothing wrong with the rock album nomination, and I expect it to win. I highly doubt 'I'll Go Crazy...." will win though. Good song, but like you said it doesn't really fit. However, the lines are blurred in this day and age.

No Line is definitely the best album this year.

Chinese got nothing. Ouch. I guess that is what you get for making a compilation album with disparate styles from a 14 year period of recording! lol

16  lame but funny. A joke for the haters but if Bono fans can't laugh there's something wrong with them.
