yea i'm probably looking for problems that aren't really even there. 40 isn't what it used to be, as i think someone said on here recently.. and i would never expect a performance off him that was an exact replication of the studio version.
time will tell though how he's sounding. not too long now..

Yeah, it's one of their best new songs. Pity Axl didn't think to leave any breathing spaces in the vocal line.
I want to hear the band doing Civil War and TWAT live. And maybe If The World.
Yeah I think the fact that there's no vocal breaks makes TWAT more difficult to sing than the high notes. Even if you can't hit the high notes, you can just lower the register a bit and make it sound alright. But the first part of the song is nearly impossible to get through without missing a few words. At least for me. Then again, I'm not Axl.

yeah but wht I'm saying is that they wrote the song (before '02) with the vocals being low and then axl or someone else discovered, after recording it, that the part in question was bland or lame so the vocals were changed. that shit happens in the studio all the time and could have happened before the demo was let out of the bag just the same.
