Post your feelings on different things here. Maybe someone feels the same and has developed a way to deal with that emotion in a positive way. Im talking just everyday things here. Like a Co-Worker who's bad habits annoy you. I'll start

The thing that scares me most is having nothing to do and nowhere to go. Just sitting doing nothing, knowing that you have done everything you had to do and there is nothing left to do . Terrible feeling. Even worse is the feeling of having nowhere to go. I don't mind doing nothing once I can go somewhere else where I have never done anything before, because thats doing something. Sitting in the same place doing nothing for more than 10 minutes is depressing. ESPECIALLY if you are not tired. When you have loads of energy but nothing to do and nowhere to go? AWFUL.

Anyone else feel the same? Im very very restless. As I write this it is 5.30. I have finished my work for the day and been to the Gym already. Now the Depression of the Nothingness is setting in.

My advice: Be more active with school & clubs. It's a regret I have, in both HS & College. Play a sport, do theater, learn to play guitar, read, write, try meeting girls. Do it all, you'll probably be more fulfilled. And in choosing what to do, don't worry about what any friends might think. Also try coming up with ideas to do with  your friends, take on more of the leader role.

I'm not saying I did all these things, in fact for the most part I didn't. But it's my advice, hope it helps.

Good advice and I been trying all this again lately. Spending Time During the day going after girls . Playing more guitar for fun as well as practise writing more music . Reading more. I just get through shit too fast. Gotta up the amount of each I do.

Yeah I know what you mean Step.

Lately i've had that overwhelming feeling like i'm stuck in purgatory. My youth is over, but my adulthood hasn't really started. I want to be successful in my studies, but i'm also ready to end the youth thing of dating and parties and shit. I've been there and done it. It fucking bores me beyond all belief. I want a wife, kids, I want to settle down. Making that happen with someone, that's a whole nother obsticle.

Lately i've been killing the boredom by lots and lots of writing. It's amazing when you hit that point, how many songs just start to pour out of you. I've just dealt with it by putting the pen to the paper...

I hear you brother, one of the worst things is bordom, very dangerous and a trigger for depression if ever there was. My advice would be come up with some projects to work on - either learn an instrument - try writing a book - or body building or whatever the hell - try and work on something that has a bit of a long term plan to it.

if u hang around negative people, u will be negative, u hang around positive people u will be positive

there are exceptions but usually people's energy rubs off on u.
