Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
Classic Rock Magazine has a collectors edition coming out next week, commemorating the 30th Anniversary of The Wall.
Looks pretty cool
Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
Is Anybody Out There? Yeah that was superb, I have never really listened to the studio album since getting it, it really is stunning. I love playing it for Floyd fans I know who have never heard of it, they are always blown away by just how incredible it sounds. The accompanying book is a work of art also.
Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
Love "The Wall" better than any "Gn'R" album...
Litterally.
Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
The wall is about the only Floyd song I can stand.
If you can't properly name Another Brick In The Wall you cannot possibly have listened to a significant amount of Pink Floyd.
Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
Buzzsaw considers Dave Gilmours entire career as a flop, so nuff said I actually titled thread "FAO Pink Floyd Fans" to spare his eyes.
Anyway, Another Brick In The Wall isnt even my favourite on that album, even thought I do like it.
Some of my faves, but to be honest I could link the whole album....

Re: FAO Pink Floyd Fans
Actually I've heard too much Pink Floyd as my brother was a fan. No apolgies for not liking it enough to know the name of one of their songs. I don't know all of Duran Duran's songs either, but with another brother that was a big fan of them, I assure you I've heard enough of them to know it's not my thing. Not liking something doesn't really get me interested in doing research on a subject...
