I like JB, but I agree that Slash haters take it to extreme levels.

Its idiotic thinking no matter which band you use. Anyone who hates a crucial member on their favorite albums needs to turn in their fan card because they weren't much of a fan anyways. Not really directing that at JB, just the overall segment of fans who take such a stance.
There's nothing wrong with Slash performing with anybody. There's also nothing wrong with him doing promotion. Only reason a segment of GNR fans hate it is because Axl doesn't do it. If Axl jumped onstage with Fergie and/or promoted his album, GNR fans would be creaming their jeans.

Exactly. Its like if Slash proclaimed his love for Christina Aguleria he would be be a sell out and a phoney but when Axl does it Christina is a legit artist and true musician of our time and Axl recognizes great talent. Pfft. There is not one single person on these GnR forums who would not have loved to see that the other night if they were in attendence. If they said they hated it they woud be a flat out lier.

I still think that performance was severely lacking. This has been posted before, but I much prefer this one. The performance soundwise is a lot better from both Slash and Fergie. And Fergie looks fantastic, shaking her ass during Slash's solo. I just wish the cameraman was a little more focussed on Fergie. No offense to Slash, I'm sure he'd understand.
