Yeah, it sucks when things like facts get in the way. Just cause CC is the most paid pitcher, doesn't mean he's the best. Just like A-Douchetard. Are we going to have to compare Ryan Howards stats too?  Or are you believing me now. No way BLS you can overrate this Yankee team. The Angels lineup is no better than the Dodgers & they can't put them away. You're releivers blew another one last night. AJ Burnett pitches like old people fuck, Bobby Abreau is a reject from the Phillies & Yankees, and yet the Yankees still lose to him. Good grief, guess the Phillies are gonna have to do what the Yankees can't accomplish, beat LA.

The Angels have a much better offense than the Dodgers.  Cards are better than the Twins, but overall I think CC has had tougher lineups to face.  It's almost impossible to compare stats from different leagues.  It's a different game.

Phils have a good lineup, absolutely.  But the Yanks lineup is better.  That's my belief.  Their bullpen is better.  The starting pitching is about even, but CC is better than anyone on the Phils.

Again, I hope I'm wrong.  I honestly hope the Yanks don't even make the World Series and it's the Angels/Phils.  I didn't think the Yankees had it in them to lose a game the way they did last night.  Maybe the tide is turning?  Probably not, but one (Yankee hater) can dream.

Now I remember why I hate Philly and their people. We'll see who is laughing after the series.

By pitching better I mean mostly he is in a zone that no other pitcher seems too be in. Bobby Abreau is way more than a "reject" buddy. A-Rod is leagues above Howard and I don't even like A-Rod.

Haha that is just blind hate and silly Philly love that all sports fans from that shit hole have.

Our ballpen let us down last night but the wrong pitchers were used at the wrong moments. Joe dropped the ball managing this series twice already. AJ had a shit start.. It happens.. He still can pitch and can still pitch the Yanks over the Phils.

That's odd, our manager made all the right moves at the right time. So that's another advantage: Phils. Plus, National League rules will apply down here. Down 3-1 top of the 6th, runner on first & second, one out CC Sebathia at the plate. Do you pull him and pinch hit???  Or let him hit into a double play. Good luck with your rocket scientist of a coach lol

Also, Howard not in douchetards league! HA!  More biased opinion.

It's not a biased opinion. A-Rod has been playing for 10 plus years and has kept his stats up and gotten better. Howard isn't near his level YET. And we keep CC in for that cause everyone who knows baseball knows that the Yankees can explode for 5 runs in ANY inning.

If I remember Joe is a former manager of the year.. Rocket scientist no, good coach, yes.

I agree Girardi left Burnett in too long.  BUT, Scioscia took out Lackey too early and the Angels were able to overcome that.

I hear all Yankee fans saying today how Girardi lost the game.  God forbid you blame the players a little.  Did Girardi pop out with the bases loaded in the 9th?  Players need to be held accountable.  You hardly ever hear anyone say how a manager WON a game for his team because all baseball fans think they can mange just as well if not better.  The ultimate second guessing sport.  I've done it plenty of times myself.  Grady Little leaving Pedro in against the Yanks in 2003.  He got fired for that non-move, and deservedly so.  But these things happen.

Joe didn't lose the game but he helped. Both managers were shit these past few games.

I think people need to give Girardi a break. Maybe i'm defending him because he's a former Cub, but understand, Girardi has never been in this position ever before as a manager. As a player, yes, but as a manager, totally different thing. Scioscia has already won a series as a manager.

Girardi is a GREAT manager imo, and very smart. He's having to feel himself out these situations because he's never been there before as the 'leader'. It's a totally different mind-approach.

I so wish the Cubs would've signed Girardi in 2007, instead of Piniella, nothing against Lou.

Girardi didn't lose shit the other night. The pitching blew it. Burnett & Chamberlin both blow. I can't believe that Burnett keeps getting paid what he gets paid. That guy hasn't been worth a damn since his Marlin days.

That did make me laugh. I was watching the post game shows & all the commentators & talking heads were saying was "Well, Scoscia pulled Lakey too early... blah blah blah." and then "Well Girardi left Burnett in too long blah blah blah" Well which is it, do you leave the guy in, or take him out. Agreed they were different circumstances, but not one of those pundits had the awareness to notice that hindsight is 20/20. Scosc could have left Lackey in & myb he'd strike the guy out, or give uop a Grand Slam. Myb if the Yankees pulled Burnett the reliever would have done even worse. It seems the national post game shows are worse than local ones.

On all that "Lackey should've stayed in"

Let's keep in mind, it was Lackey who loaded the bases in the first place to get taken out. He was finished. Whether it's him or Darren Oliver... Yanks still clear the bases imo.
