But again, this thread being about Creed tickets going for seventy five cents and having nothing to do with the These Days Vs. Chinese Democracy.........................
A good and valid point. But no one likes Creed sooo...
I thought they were ok. Although I thin I have never listened to an entire Creed album ever.
I joke I joke. I hate musical snobbery. I like Creed too a lot

Something To Believe In...
Good song...
Standard, by the book, straight forward melodic rock.
And I love melodic rock. I've been enjoying the hell out of Foreigner's new album.
But to me, all of these artists are kind of the same deal. You just pick your favorite and go with it. I dug Hurricane from the 80's, which was basically one of the hundred's of pure Bon Jovi rip off bands that came along, after Jovi hit.
To me it's all the same. Creed too. There's no uniqueness. Sure Jovi is massively successful, but bands like Guns N' Roses have something special that seperates them from everyone else. Metallica has it. Alice In Chains has it, and in alot of ways concerning melodic rock, Van Halen & Def Leppard had it.

I like Creed. I have all their cds. But of course I'm from Tally so them being a hometown band probably biases me a bit. But from a player's standpoint Their songs are fun to play and our singer loves to sing Creed songs.

I still think it's amazing how times change. People loved these guys in the 90's, and now they're a punchline.
I wonder if they'll have a second wind, like Poison did where people got revisionist about the band and interest grew... but hell, Creed's prime was a decade ago. If they don't find it soon...

I'm not sure. That's a good possibility though. I always hated everything about Creed from minute one. I was way in the minority for a very long time. 2 friends of mine very much still like Creed. They've stuck by their guns, they still go see them and they still buy anything that put out. I give them credit for that.
Yeah I can remember being in school in the late 90s, and getting shit for still supporting GN'R, AIC, Metallica... and being told how it was "so 5 years ago".
Korn, Limp Bizkit & Creed were the "future"
Amazing that GN'R, AIC & Metallica are all still "more" relevant.
